\"\"Finally, after twelve years of hard work Sandew Hira is going to present his book<\/a> titled Decolonizing The Mind – a guide to decolonial theory and practice <\/em>in Amsterdam on Genocide Memorial Day on January 15th, 2023.<\/p>\n

His book deals with the rise of the colonial world civilization that is based on genocide. Genocide Memorial Day<\/a> (GMD) is a day focused on remembering man\u2019s inhumanity to man. It takes place on the third Sunday of January each year and is initiated by the Islamic Human Rights Commission, a founding member of the Decolonial International Network Foundation.<\/p>\n

The theme of the presentation of the book is: Let’s start decolonizing our minds<\/strong>. The event is organized by the Decolonial International Network (DIN<\/a>) and Aralez<\/a>, a pan-decolonial network & grassroots organization based in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

The event will take place in theater Ru Par\u00e9<\/a>, Chris Lebeaustraat 4, 1062DC Amsterdam at 14.00 hr (walk in 13.00 hr).<\/p>\n
