We are about to witness a dramatic transformation in world history that can be compared to the transformations that occurred because of World War I and World War II. In 1914 the German, Russian, Austria-Hungarian and Ottoman empire seemed to destined to exist forever. Four years later they were gone because of World war I.
In 1939 Germany was the strongest economic power in Europe. England and France with their colonial empires dominated the world. The U.S. was not a super power. Six year later the world changed dramatically because of World War II. Germany was split in two countries. Eastern Europe became part of the Soviet bloc. Socialism became a dominant force with the Chinese revolution. The U.S. became a superpower. The colonial empires crumbled.
